Royal Cottage Garden - 404 N.E. Poplar Dr.
Fran Durrell's garden features:
- Camelot series delphiniums
- Enchanting shade hideaway
- Overflowing containers
- Lotus filled pond
- Scented botanicals

Fran Durrell will once again open her secret cottage garden featuring the delphinium series "Camelot". Among her stately giants you will find Guinevere (lavender/pink), King Arthur (blue/purple with a white eye), Sir Galahad (white), Black Knight (dark purple with black eye), and Lancelot (dark blue). This primarily shade garden gets just enough sun to send the delicate delphiniums soaring five feet tall. Several flats of tiny seeds have been germinating in Fran's basement over the winter. Finding the right delphinium seed was not easy. Fran suggests either the English varieties (Pacific Giants) or ordering from Thompson-Morgan Seeds.

The second passion of this passionate gardener, is a collection of beautifully scented and prolific lilies. Her speciality is the Regal Lily made famous by the English Gardener, Beverley Nichols. Also included in the collection is colorful Asian hybrids. Mixed in you will find the foxglove Camelot series in Lavender and Pink, also started from seeds. The back fence is covered in King George Sweet Peas (red) to add color power and draw the visitor back into the garden.
If all this royalty doesn't wow you enough, check out brightly colored containers stuffed to the brim with gorgeous greenery and blossoms. Fran carefully places each container to fill in a needed spot or add extra punch in among the lush green plantings.
