Myrna Minnis
Myra is a ceramic sculpturer whose figures are created from stoneware clay. Each piece is one of a kind. Her pieces are inspired by her gardening and loves to display them among the textures and colors of nature. Sharing her creative process through clay with thousands of students in the Kansas City area earned her Educator of the Year in 2000 for Arts and disabilities. Her “Oolgys” (whimsical characters who personify creative energy and expression) are made with special non-drying clay by kids of all ages.
Myra will be in the garden of Linda and Andy Anderson displaying her special art work.
