Dee Lowe and Bob Klein’s Garden:

For years, people in the northland have assumed the three acre garden on the corner of N. Flora and Shady Lane was a city park.  Not so.  It is the carefully planted and tended garden of Dee Lowe and Bob Klein.  Bob, a self-confessed plant collector, stopped counting varieties of trees and shrubs at 300 and that was many years ago.  Dee devotes her gardening time to the flowering plants.  Avid fans of the gardens of Little and Lewis, these gardeners were inspired to use the same colors used by L&L in their courtyard walls and gazebo.

Jake Marshall, watercolorist, will return this year to the tour and will be painting in the garden courtyard.
